Current volunteer openings

Peer support meeting facilitators

These volunteers facilitate support meetings both online and in person, drawing on their lived experience, personal connection to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and training provided by Toronto Pflag.

Support Committee Chair

This role requires a personal connection to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. It entails facilitating support meetings (online and in person), as well as recruiting and mentoring new support meeting volunteers. This role is supported by a dedicated Support Committee Coordinator.

School workshop presenters

School workshop presenters conduct online workshops for students, faculty/staff, and parent groups and must have a personal connection to the 2SLBTQIA+ community.

Marketing Committee Chair

This role entails the development of a communications schedule, managing the development of communication and promotional materials, and managing associated volunteers.

Corporate workshop presenters

Corporate workshop presenters conduct online and/or in-person sessions for businesses and other organizations and must have a personal connection to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Event volunteers

In addition to Toronto Pflag’s annual Pride participation, event volunteers help plan (and may lead) various events throughout the year.
