Meetings & events
In addition to our monthly support meetings, Toronto Pflag hosts events throughout the year, all with the goal of supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ people in our lives and building community.
Check out our calendar for the latest details, as we update it regularly.
International Day of Pink
Echoes of Resistance. Echoes of Recognition. Echoes of Change.
Fairlawn Avenue United Church is proud to host the only public GTA event celebrating International Day of Pink for the fourth year in a row.
This year’s Day of Pink ECHO Tour brings together powerful storytellers and activists to reflect on the 25th anniversary of two landmark moments in queer and trans Canadian history – the Supreme Court censorship victory by Little Sisters Book Store and the Modernizations of Benefits and Obligations Act, which recognized same sex couples in federal law.
These moments are powerful echoes. Echoes that still resonate in our lives, our rights and our dignity. They remind us that our stories are not silent. They live, they vibrate, they inspire.
Featured speakers include Rev. Dr. Cheri DiNovo, author AJ Dolman, and CBC’s Chris Glover.
We will also enjoy a performance from Katinka Kature, one of Toronto’s most celebrated drag entertainers.
PLEASE NOTE: While we’re happy to support, this is not a Toronto Pflag event.

Dads Night Out
NOTE: There is no meeting in December. We will look forward to welcoming everyone back in January!

TRANSceptance
Gather online with parents and other direct caregivers of transgender and nonbinary people of any age. Together, we’ll connect each other to resources, share stories, and create a safe, non-judgmental space for parents and caregivers just like you.
General peer support (online)
Join parents, community members, and allies at our general meetings, both online and in person. Everyone is welcome—we’ll share our experiences, act as a sounding-board, and discuss ways to support one another.
